ABOUT
About the series
What kind of story?
In a Japan not far from our own, Kohei (Red) — an engineer worn down by the endless workplace problems that never seem to go away — deploys four autonomous, self-thinking AIs as holograms, sending them into action as the AI Custom Rangers, and vows to help people facing every kind of work-related challenge.
“The problems people face at work never end — yet most of them are caused by “the other you”: your own fixed assumptions and rigidity.”
This work casts those assumptions as monsters. The Custom Rangers break through them with AI-powered support and real, already-shipped products — portraying the push toward DX (digital transformation) as a story where people solve their own problems, with their own hands.
It's not about the product
AI is just a modern tool — tools change, but ingenuity is forever. Each story celebrates human creativity: letting go of the belief that you must do everything alone, by hand, and solving your problem yourself with the right tool.
How to read
Each episode is a self-contained one-shot (about 8 pages). Start anywhere from the archive. Everything is free to read.
Release pace
Not a deadline-driven serial — roughly monthly, whenever the mood strikes. If you want more, a quick word on social is the fuel for the next episode.
This is a work of fiction. Characters and organizations are fictional, but the products featured are real.
